Moving In
Moving in is easy. You will need to present ID and fill out our rental contract. We require first month's rent and a one-time $20.00 administrative fee. This fee applies to spaces on special too. You need to secure your space with you own lock or one you purchase in our office. The terms of the lease are month to month.
We strongly recommend you use one of our disc locks for added security. If you do not put a lock on your space at the time of rental you must make an appointment during office hours to put a lock on your space. After renting, the space must be secured at all times. If you do not have a lock on your space we will put one on and charge your account for the cost of the lock.
Access
When you move in you will be provided with a security code that will allow you entry into the facility. Keep your code secure. On the keypad you must hit a * then your code followed by a #. The facility grounds are open 24/7. As long as you have your code you can enter the facility anytime with the exception of spaces accessed through the office. We also have an exit keypad so you need to enter your code again upon exiting the facility.
You are also required to keep the key to your space for access. We will not keep keys to spaces in our office. If you lose your key you will need to make an appointment with the office to have your lock replaced. You will need to present your ID for identification to authorize this process.
Payments
Payment can be made by cash, check, credit card or ACH. We take Master Card, Visa, Discover and AMEX. We also offer automatic payments. You can have your credit card charged on a monthly basis or you can set up an ACH transaction. We do not accept partial payments. Delinquent accounts must be paid in full.
We also offer online payments. You can go 'Pay Online' on our website and enter your space number and gate code to login. The * and # are only required on the keypad. Do not enter them when using online pay. Once you login you may enter your credit card information to make a payment. You have a choice of getting an invoice by e-mail for free, mail for $1.00 per month or you can choose to receive no invoice.
Fee Schedule
We have a 10 day grace period for bill payment. After 10 days the late fee schedule is as follows: Rental rate of $60.00 or less - $10.00 late fee. Rental rate between > $60.00 and < $100.00 - $15.00. Rental rate of $100.00 or more - $20 or 15%, whichever is greater.
Returned check fee: $30.00.
Overlock fee: $20.00.
Claim fee: $20.00.
Auction publishing fee: $10.00.
Policies
Your space is to be used for storage only. Hazardous and toxic materials are prohibited. You may not use the space as a domicile or a place of business. You may not modify your space nor may you connect electrical devices anywhere on the facility. Garbage disposal is not allowed on the property.
If you need to transfer to a different space you must rent the new space and move all of your goods before we can vacate your original space.
Vacating
When you plan on moving out you must give us a 10 day written notice. Upon move out please come to the office and sign a vacate receipt. You must remove all items from your space and leave it in broom swept condition. Space rent is not prorated after you have stayed in the space for more than ten days in the current month's rental period.
